ENDA Fact Sheets and "How To" Guides
Visit the endaNOW blog for a catalog of helpful guides to help you participate in the ENDA campaign. You will find guides on how to set up and participate in meetings with your Congress member or staff, helpful guides to writing letters to the editors of your local newspapers, and hints on blogging for ENDA.

Hearings
On September 23, 2009, U.S. Rep. George Miller (D-CA), chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee, held the first full committee hearing in the House of Representatives on HR 3017 (the Employment Non-Discrimination Act of 2009), legislation to prohibit employers from discriminating against employees on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. On June 26, 2008, the House Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor and Pensions had a hearing titled "An Examination of Discrimination Against Transgender Americans in the Workplace." Watch the video, featuring compelling testimony about the need for federal job protections.
